Kydah purred at the offered water and closed her eyes contentedly at the rubbing behind her ears. She flicked her tail around her haunches and decided that she liked this one.
"Kydah!" exclaimed Hresden as he saw the big cat lying by the fire. Jogging forward, he opened his mouth to continue scolding her but the words left him as he saw the Blood Elf she was sitting next to. He stood there, stunned, for a long moment then shook himself and dug into one of the pouches at his belt.
"I believe you dropped this earlier," he said kindly as he dropped to one knee next to her. As he did, he looked at her with a calculating gaze, trying to find anything resembling himself in her. She was young, he could tell that much, and there was perhaps some resemblance there. He couldn't really tell, however, as he rarely studied his own face and Lymalis more resembled their mother.
Lymalis, meanwhile, kicked her boots in the dirt and cursed harshly in Thalassian. Grumbling under her breath, she strode back the way she had come, her glowing eyes trying to seek out her brother amongst the crowds.
